Beating the Bounds in prayer and fellowship

On Sunday 20 July, following our morning Mass, a small but joyful group from Holy Trinity took part in the traditional custom of Beating the Bounds - a prayerful walk tracing the historic boundary of our parish.

As we journeyed through Gosport, we paused at key landmarks including the HMS Affray Memorial, Gosport Ferry Terminal, Millennium Bridge, St George’s Barracks, and Morrison’s Supermarket, before finishing our walk at Gosport Town Hall. Along the way, we offered prayers for God’s blessing on our town, its people, and its future.

A welcome refreshment break - kindly provided by Maureen - offered a chance to rest and reflect together.

The walk was a meaningful and uplifting experience for all who took part, and we hope to make it an annual tradition. Thank you to everyone who joined us in prayer and fellowship.
