Evening Prayer on Sundays at 6pm

All are welcome for our service of Evening Prayer on Sunday evenings each week at 6pm.

This service has been set up especially with those in mind who may find it difficult to attend church on a Sunday morning, or who are particularly seeking a quiet and reflective service. It will last 30 minutes and include hymns, psalms, and other readings, in an atmosphere of gentle incense and candlelight.

The service takes place on the chancel (in front of the high altar) and will be generally followed by a social opportunity such as a drink at a local pub or glass of wine in the nave (and non-alcoholic alternatives) for anyone who would like this. As with all of our services, you should feel welcome to take part in as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. We look forward to welcoming you.
