Fiery floral displays for Pentecost
Our amazing flower volunteers have once again outdone themselves this weekend with amazing displays of flowers adorning the nave altar, lecturn and pulpit - arranged to look like the flames that fell on Jesus’ Disciples at Pentecost, which we celebrate today on Pentecost Sunday. We feel so blessed to have such talent in our church family and such beauty to enjoy as part of our worship.
At Holy Trinity, we enjoy learning more about God as we work our way through the liturgical year. Next Sunday is Trinity Sunday, where we commemorate God who is three in one: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As well as celebrating at Mass on Sunday morning, we are also greatly looking forward to hosting a special service of Choral Evensong for Trinity Sunday, with the visiting choir of St Mary’s Portsea, at 6pm. All are welcome!
